
About Marwin
The Marwin Group, was formed as a partnership of Norman Winton and Fred Margolin to acquire 7 CiCi’s Restaurants from CiCi’s Enterprises, Inc., in Houston, Texas. That purchase occurred in February 2002 through its affiliate Winmar Pizza Management LLC. In addition, The Marwin Group acquired the rights to build ten additional stores in Houston and has opened 4 new restaurants while in development for the remaining 6.
Since the initial acquisition, The Marwin Group, has acquired additional development territories through other affiliates to build 28 stores in West Virginia, 25 in five counties in Maryland and 15 in Dayton and 12 Columbus, Ohio. The Marwin Group has opened three new stores since January 2005 and is on schedule to open 34 more stores over the next 9 months in those areas. The Marwin Group partnering with T.E.G. has purchased 15 additional restaurants in Houston, TX, with development rights in Michigan for 35 and Cincinnati for 17.
The Marwin Group, has built up a team that includes nine Operating Principals with extensive restaurant operating abilities as well as over 50 General Managers and 1000+ hourly employees. Over the next 12 months The Marwin Group, will double in size and expects to grow at a rate of 50 stores per year from there on.
